FILM
2D & 3D Animation
What's hard to explain, understood at first glance.
Some things can't be filmed: the inside of a machine, an app, a villa that's still being built. MAD MIRROR STUDIOS makes them visible with motion graphics, explainer videos and photorealistic 3D, for brands, property projects and trade fair stands, for example at ISE or MWC in Barcelona. A typical explainer runs 60 to 90 seconds and is ready in three to six weeks.

How we work
Our film process
- 01
Briefing & concept
We define the goal, the audience and the core message, then translate it into a treatment, storyboard and production plan.
- 02
Pre-production
Locations, permits, casting, gear and schedule are locked so shoot day runs without surprises.
- 03
Production
We shoot ourselves with cinema-grade equipment, directed for the platforms where the content will live: 16:9 for website and YouTube, 9:16 for Reels and TikTok.
- 04
Post & delivery
Edit, color grade, sound design and motion graphics, delivered in every format and aspect ratio you need.
When is animation better than live action?
Whenever the subject is invisible, abstract or not built yet: processes, software, technical products, data and properties still under construction. Animation shows exactly what matters, without the constraints of a physical shoot.
Can you animate our product photorealistically?
Yes. From CAD data or reference material we build photorealistic 3D models and render product films that are often indistinguishable from a real shoot, with full control over every detail.
How long does an explainer video take?
A typical ninety-second explainer takes three to six weeks including concept, illustration, animation and sound. Complex 3D productions are scoped individually.
How many revisions are included in an animation?
Two rounds of revisions per deliverable, unless the quote says otherwise. So that late changes don't get expensive, you approve the script, storyboard and styleframes first; only then do we animate.
